Since the BB (Beauty Balm) cream craze started, I was interested in trying one for myself. I was intrigued by the beauty benefits for your skin. BB creams are known to clear blemishes, prevent/slow down aging skin, and acts as a 2-in-1 primer/foundation. Sadily, I could not find the right BB cream for my skin tone. There were many BB creams for fair to light skin tones.
Then the CC cream boom started. I heard CC (Color Corrector) creams were just as powerful as BB creams. CC creams are known to moisturize skin, evens skin tone, prevents/slows down aging skin, and acts as a 2-in-1 primer/foundation with sheer to heavy coverage (depends on your usage of CC creams).
To my surprise, Nordic Beauty was wonderful to reach out to me, to test and review Nordic Beauty Broad Spectrum SPF 30 CC cream. Not only is their CC cream feels great, they message behind Nordic Beauty is even greater: "Nordic Beauty donates 10% of our annual net revenues to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation and Susan G. Komen Organization." Since November is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, This is the perfect time to invest in Broad Spectrum SPF 30 CC cream. Support a great brand for a great cause!
Nordic Beauty Broad Spectrum SPF 30 CC Cream
PROS: Blends very well, moisturizes my skin, and de-puffs my under eye circles
CONS: Too light for my skin tone. I had to fix this problem with makeup setting spray or water.
RECOMMENDATIONS: I would recommend Nordic Beauty Broad Spectrum SPF 30 CC cream for people with normal to dry skin types, with fair to tan skin tones. This CC cream is prefect for everyday use during the fall/winter weather. If you have a dark skin tone like myself, remember this rule of thumb: Less is More.
